Roo: Don't think you can park as you like just because you occupy the side lot. Be civilised. Park properly.
PP: Driver might have parked slanted like that so close to the tree because he or she wanted to get maximum shade from the tree. At least the Altis driver did not pose hindrance to other drivers who parked properly. It does look a tad funny and weird though. It really makes you wonder if the driver deliberately parked like that or just didn't bother to park straight properly.

The car owner is really maximizing the distance to the potential next car beside it.

However, it does not inconvenience others much, except that the kerb may be taking the load-weight of the car.

Anyone who wants to maximize distance, parking beside a kerb would not park badly as this, so it may still be a case of “Couldn’t-Care-Less” parking.
I stress that it is not as bad as other parking idiots who take up the next lot, which are the main targets as well as unauthorised parking at handicapped lots. (24 Nov 2006)

No harm or inconvenience caused. so why bother. If he get summoned by HDB is his business. Eyesore? Since when is eyesore an issue here? please keep in mind the objective: inconvenience to other drivers and acts of selfishness.
Let sleeping dogs lie.

The objective of this blog is to advocate proper parking and not to infuriate or shame people who park improperly.
