Problem is: HDB Car Park Enforcement would require the witness to testify in court against the culprit. Most witnesses dare not do it.

there are 2 things here.
When a call is made to URA/HDB enforcement. They will note and send a person to the scene, but it may be minutes, if we are lucky or even some hrs later. If the idiot is still there, then they will issue a fine.

But if the car has left, then just too bad, and the idiot gets away.

You are right to state that sending photos and wanting the URA/HDB to act, will require a ciurt presence, if the driver dispute. this can be for varid reasons, such as, "I only park for few minutes", things like that.
To proceed the fine by URA/HDB will then require court prsence by the witness/complainant.

Now if a person can spare the time.
but there is noting to loose by sending the photo. There are chances that the idiot just admit, and pays the fine , and hopefully larn the lesson.

To Subutex

Look like the law is an idiot too. See how difficult it is even for a civic-minded citizen to help out!!!

To the side of car SGM7802E are obviously 2 very empty lots...lots which a wheelchair user cannot park his car without the risk of being blocked out when he returns later.

If HDB cannot do its job then we need volunteers to scratch ..er I mean, remind such idiots to use his blain, if he has any.

good idea on the scrath lesson, but it must be dine with goo dassesment of the situation, what normally called "Risk Assessment"

remember the joker who scratch a car , but had been videotaped. the very most , if it must be done, do it only once in the same neighbourhood. the other option is to use "Zorro" mask. he.he.he.

The law is sometime difficult on public enforcement, as there ar emany legal issues to handle. this is to prevent abuse. anyway, the least is to just call, hopedfully, the warden comes in time if he is nearby. a Fine of $100 will teach the driver idiot a lesson. If not, then its a double idiot we are talking about.

To Subutex: Yup. The parking warden needs some time to respond to calls of such illegal parking. Sometimes the idiot may have left the lot by the time the warden reaches the place.

Most idiot may get away with their act, its their good luck.

But just keep trying the "Call hotline" and leys hope the warden is nearby.

The Tampines warehouse at Tampines Ave 10 has so many cars in weekends. So far no idiot photos are seen form there.

I may be speaking too soon!!!!

I know of a group of drivers are prepared to put a hex on drivers who abuse parking lots reserved for the disabled. The 'hex' is actually to help such errant drivers 'get' disabled through, say, an accident, so that they will qualify to become 'legal' users of disabled lots.

Send these people to the right "SCHOOL" i.e. NCSS for public education.
