JS: No driver in this Merc for more than 10 minutes. Policemen went pass twice and didn't issue ticket. Makes me wonder if the police only fine poor people and let rich people get away without any punishment.

The police didn't issue any summon because they don't have any summon to issue. It's not their job to issue summonses, it's the job of the parking wardens.
i hate to do this, but i Beg to differ, i believe that the police have the obligation to issue a summon or call on the tow truck, or the wardens, but they dont, as its too much paper work, and its "not their department".
eg; if a traffic police or ROV were to ride by shop and he saw a theft/robbery going on in there, will he do anything abt it ? i am sure he/she have to
TO add to JS comment, this incident happen some years back, My friends and i were at HV, and we parked our motorcyles at the dbl yellow line, we were abt to move our bikes when we saw the TP comming arond to summon the other cars parked alongside us, but he stopped short when he saw a MerC with some stylo milo number plate,, then he just hang there so we left our bikes as it is to see what happens,, nothing and he left soon after, we were young then and did not know hot to go wbt this issue, but clearly it has lead to fact abt those rumours.
To DL: Yup. The least the police can do is to inform the parking wardens of the parking offence.
When parking wardens only issue summonses to ordinary cars and not cars of rich men, it goes to show the darkness and injustice in our system :(
I remember once I was waiting for my wife, the Airport policeman came to wave me off as i was not supposed to park there as there was 2x yellow line there. At that time I was driving a Suzuki.
Now that i have changed my car to a BMW645, may I should try to park there to see if they waive me off or give me a ticket.
I will be using my car as a test, if i get a ticket, i will pay the fine and congratulate the officer/warden for a job well done, if i do not get any, it proves to show the injustice.
Since i will be using my car to test, please do not post any pic of SBV XX J Silver BMW645.
